Science and Art Exhibition
9 - 16 MARCH 2019
I’ve got a piece in this show, starts next week, new version of ‘Brain Fly Through #2’.
Private View: 9th March 2pm- 4pm
Gerald Moore Gallery presents an exhibition on the theme of Science and Art to celebrate British Science Week. There will be a range of pieces from paintings, sculpture, video and more by a selection of artists whose work explores scientific themes.
Both Science and Art are human attempts to understand and describe the world around us. The subjects and methods have different traditions and different intended audiences, but the motivations and goals are fundamentally the same. We look to understand the world around us using art to tackle scientific subjects and methods in this exhibition.
The artists in this exhibition are:
Andrew Ash, Kirsty Campbell, Anya Charikov-Mickleburgh, Lynn Denison, Eric Fong, Ellen Hausner, Rosa Hinksman, Richard Paton, Fiona Rimmer and Eva Rudlinger
There will also be weekend events for children including slime making, bubble painting and robots that draw.
